Gunshot Corner Pressure (Character Specific)

When Cassie Cage Amplifies her Dual Wielding, or BackForward1, she will fire multiple gunshots. Although these gunshots are highs, they will connect on crouch block against characters with large hurtboxes such as Jax Briggs. If blocked, the gunshots will deal a hefty 5% chip damage.

This is best used in the corner as the gunshots will leave Cassie Cage anywhere from +1 to +3 on block. After the gunshots, you will be able to check your opponent with Forward+4 while mixing in throws.

The only way to escape is to crouch underneath the initial gunshot without blocking. In order to prevent this, you will want to mix up the gunshots within Cassie Cage’s strings. For example, since your opponent will be afraid of the 2nd hit in Forward+2,1+3, you can cancel the Forward+2 into the gunshots.

What’s even more great about this is that if your opponent is hit by the gunshots, they are +12 to +13 on hit. This means your opponent must block your next attack as it will jail. You can then cancel your attack into the gunshots for even more damage.
